Trentham Retail Village, Stoke-on-Trent

Works comprised of the extension to the existing shopping village at Trentham Gardens, Stoke on Trent.

Six blocks of retail units were constructed containing 22nr individual shops / restaurants. Structural steel frame construction, clad to match the existing retail village, in Larch tongue and groove boarding, Western Red Cedar shingle roof tiles, Douglas Fir timber glazed windows and doors formed the shop fronts. Internally the units were completed to shell stage fit-out by the end retailer, Redwood tongue and groove boarded fully vaulted ceilings, plaster and emulsion to walls, fully fitted disabled WC pod, lighting and emergency lighting. Externally the boulevard to the street was constructed in tumble block paving with landscaping and planting, underground pumped foul drainage system and a storm-water soakaway system. All works were completed within the contract period of 36 weeks and within the contract sum.
