INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS

Intium were pleased to welcome students from South Staffordshire College, studying Carpentry and Joinery, to our HDD Lichfield project for an insight into life on a live construction site.

Memona our Administration Manager, introduced the students to Intium, explaining who we are, what we do and the background on what the HDD Lichfield project entails.

Our Site Manager Mick, then delivered the site induction and a guided tour, sharing his experience of the construction industry. Having started his career in Carpentry and Joinery, Mick spoke to the students about his journey into site management, demonstrating the opportunities for career development within the industry.

The students saw construction works in progress and Mick provided them with an explanation on what works were being carried out, the materials being used and the installation process.

A big thank you to South Staffordshire College, its students and our team for making this site visit a success.
