Works comprise the demolition of an existing hotel and public house and the new build construction of 18nr 2-bedroom Extra Care apartments as an annexe to the existing Rowan Village care home. Construction includes traditional trench fill foundations, precast concrete ground, first , second floors and roof. Single ply insulated flat roof, PVCu windows and aluminium curtain walling, load bearing masonry superstructure, fully fitted out apartments including modern kitchens, bathrooms, veneer doors, soft floor finishes. An 8-person passenger lift, extensive M&E installations including solar PV panels to the roof, CCTV, WIFI, power and lighting. External works include soft landscaping and garden areas, parking area, fencing, railings and gates, below ground drainage and attenuation tanks.
